I used pop dots to make the mountains stand out and also the birthday sign. I also chalked the sky and train to make them look more realistic.

Everyday Paperdoll dress up: Birthday Card
Today I would like to share with you a birthday card I created for a friends sons birthday. She said he was having a train birthday and I thought that I would create a train card to keep with the theme.

I used pop dots to make the mountains stand out and also the birthday sign. I also chalked the sky and train to make them look more realistic.

Lovestruck: Masculine Valentine
I decided my first post should be from my favorite cricut cartridge, Lovestruck. It was one of Provo crafts limited edition cartridges for 2010.
The card I am sharing today I made for my husband for Valentines day. I find it hard to get the right balance between being romantic but also masculine.

(The card not only includes images from the lovestruck cartridge, i also used the plantin schoolbook font cartridge)
The wonderful thing about the Lovestruck cartridge is the images are so beautiful that you do not need a bunch of embellishments to make the card look complete. If you have the chance to pick up this cartridge I would recommend it.
